Enjoying the pictures especially since I will be on the 11/4 Discovery sailing. Wondering if that is the amount of fries served with the fish and chips? ☹️

That's the amount, but some are under the fish. I think you could ask for an extra plate of fries, if desired. Tonight is escargot and lobster night so save room

Thank you and yes, you're right! Re: the escargot...ugh, but maybe I would give it a shot, but not sure (texture in the way it is served). Lobster for sure. Hope you have/had a great meal!

You can throw the pencil erasers away and just dip bread in the sauce! Or select something else.

Best cruise we've been on this year.  Food has been excellent (except the guy can't make a decent omelet.)  Chocolate is back on the dessert menu instead of just mousse and cake.  Mariachi Band (Diamond Trio?) is a blast.  Biggest asset other than the special guests is Duvaul, the cruise director.  I can't remember a better one.  Funny, smart, personable, and approachable.

Of course, the musicians are wonderful.  Kimberly Locke has an incredible voice!  Hadn't followed her since AI, but definitely will now. Wow.

Discovery is beautiful -- however, it lacks a library or any quiet spots at all (or at least I can't find them).

Last week was a casino tournament where more than 700 cabins were comped and a bar was turned into an additional slot area.  I'm told that next week will be the same, so sorry for those of you booked on that cruise if you don't gamble.

@BlerkOne:  I'm glad you're enjoying your stay on the Discovery.  I am enjoying reading about your cruise.

The reason I highlighted this scan or picture is that I did a California Coastal with these stops (plus Santa Barbara) a year and a half ago and I'm pretty sure we didn't get anything like this.  It would have been helpful.
