Good morning from somewhere in the coral sea. The weather calls for hair gel and rain coats. After last night's adventures . Jo and I are moving about very gingerly.  We're not as young as we once were, we're young once as we ever we're .

Y lesterday the weather was a bit "tossy" and today promises even more. For entertainment yesterday we enjoyed our sweet site brekkie in Harmony,  I let the casino give me some $$$ to help supplement our cruising addiction and then I gave them a bit back at Bingo.  Tom and I decided to check out the art auction. Last cruise we picked up a piece that holds great personal connection. 20220324_210651.thumb.jpg.ae762ddd3abe8e29e68f93c4c4d94e76.jpg

Nothing struck our fancy enough to purchase yet,  but the cruise is going and there are some nice pieces that are coming up.  Then it was on to the suite reception where Darko had four Bellinis that he wanted us to smoke and vote on,  along with some delicious noshes. Then it was on to dinner in Reserve with our new friends,  where everyone was turned out splendidly,  the most casual being a sport coat and nice slacks, but let's NOT go there,  this is just an observation of last night's Reserve Class dining. b486a26c6ca74970b9ab7800a24e6424.thumb.jpg.1f80310ecab212cc603c2686f1113809.jpg

If you get a chance would you mind answering a couple of questions?  First, could you find out when the exercise center is open? 24 hours a day or just at 6am as on some ships.  We are in an Aft suite in March and I wondered if the same folks will be in the Lounge? Sounds like he is really great. We had Igor and Bradley on our last cruise and they were fantastic.  Also would you ask if it is possible to change the first nights dinner to another night. We like to not miss the sail away and would like to go to the special dinner on another night.  If this is too much I am sorry and then just forget it.  Thank you. Nancy...

@jwattle Reserve Dining Room alert. Be sure to listen for the "fireworks" audio. Camille and the other servers have really mastered this presentation. Have you had your anniversary celebration there yet? Enjoy all the fun. Fireworks and all!

@c-boy Be sure to catch Kevin Brando, the piano guy at Crown Grill bar. He played the evening sets there. I noticed one of your art pieces has a piano...hope you like his music!

So,  for your entertainment,  a tidbit: is a good thing that I didn't get of of the ship today for our store excursion as I had planned to all day yesterday. I thought we were going to Matey Island fish,  but that's tomorrow... today is a sea day. I would have had an impromptu swim 🏊‍♀️ 😕

Oh the typos ...I thought that we were going to Mystery Island today, but that's tomorrow,  is how the sentence about "Matey Island " should have read.

Thought it was a special Aussie island. 🤣😉

Haven't been to the exercise center due to allergies 🤧 😀  I believe that Darko will have gone on break by March.  First night specialty dinner is only for first night,  use it or lose it basis.  Have a great cruise.  This is a wonderful ship with delightful crew!

Today was another sea day,  even though I had a shore excursion planned, thinking it was Mystery Island day.  Guess my clear kayak and snorkel will have to wait until tomorrow. Bingo contributed to my cruise fund,  got LOTS of steps in,  and the waves are chipping in to keep people's weight down, but not in a nice way. Soooo glad that sea sickness,  or Mal de Mer is not an affliction of mine.

We had the Winemakers Dinner tonight,  very tasty!

I'm new to Princess,  what is the Winemakers dinner?

I know that the Winemaker's dinner has been evolving over the years, but when I saw the $100 pp levy, I was a bit surprised.

OK, inflation is worldwide, let's take a look at the menu.  It looks like you were started with a pink sparkler that was not on the menu.  I was very impressed when I saw the third wine on the menu--Ornellaia.  Excellent.

The meal looks terrific.  Mrs. XBGuy and I would have enjoyed it.

Didn’t look at the photo at first…if that’s accurate that’s crazy because the last time it was $45 per person after a price increase from $40. The Caymus version is $140 available fleetwide in the Crown Grill.

Do you think this was a special wine list that included Ornellaia resulting in a higher price?
