@cruiseny4life,  have you checked out the Local?  We have fond memories of the Hot Fudge sundaes in there.  I hope they still have them.  

 

Although we have loved the Haven on Bliss, Joy and Getaway.....kind of happy we will just be in another Club Balcony on our next Prima.  We have read many other reviews of Prima Haven that just don't seem to live up to other Havens😕

As I do on each cruise, I try the pizza. The thin crust pizza on Getaway and Joy is much preferred over this bready pizza. Kudos for experimenting though!

We did have wings and the sausage Sliders. The hot fudge sundae looks great! I'm going to have it before the end.

We didn't get the chicken udon. I also didn't get the steak - I'm glad. It didn't look that great. My shrimp and scallops were excellent! He had shrimp (surprise, surprise). Our table was very weird. 90 minutes in and half the table had hardly touched their meats. We were done and had to get to Price is Right so went without the fruit. We have fruit every morning so it was ok to pass on.

One of them did order it well done!! She also didn't laugh or smile once. And, she was on her phone the entire time. How dare that fellow Millennial!!

Oh, and with the addition of some extra soy from the kettle, our food was quite excellent! Those scallops were succulent and the shrimp, perfect!

After some Shuffleboard, a few trips down the slide, we went to Hudson's for lunch. Look at those nice aft views!

I came back to the room where our morning service had taken place, the shower drain has been fixed (it was almost overflowing), and our laundry is back. We didn't know the items had to be itemized on the sheet, so it was picked up last night at 8:30 PM. It was back on the room before 1 PM. 

 

Nine days worth of laundry for $15. I'll take it!

 

 

Now. Off to the spa for the afternoon. Galaxy Pavilion for my husband.

We have the added shudder and bang noise as the bow hurtles through the fairly calm seas!

 

A forward facing room would not be a good choice on this ship given how loud the boom is and the shaking from the bow hitting the water. 

 

I find it kind of exciting, but I'm not sleeping haha

We had FF 13100 on really rocky seas (the kind where you walk from one side of the cabin corridor to the other before drinking).  I thought the rough seas were fun and the loud boom was just part of the experience.  Hubby OTH was grumpy the next day due to nit sleeping well.

We tried Indulge out again for dinner. It continues to offer a quality meal of tapas. Not pictured below are the nine chicken breast nuggets wrapped in bacon that my husband had. You get the idea - they're not breaded, but are very, very good!

 

Agnolotti - braised beef stuffed inside shells. Basically fancy ravioli. Great tasting sauce and beef!

 

 

Jamon - two strips were quickly eaten before I remembered to take this photo.

 

 

Totopos - basically nachos with guacamole, refried beans, crema, and Monterey jack. I didn't see or taste any cream.

 

 

Porchetta - a great slab of pork cooked juicy and tasty! A little too much fat, but I'm not complaining!

 

 

Gnocchi - YUM! With toasted pine nuts

 

Brisket with extra sauce - the sauce is really yummy

 

 

Boston Cream Pie - the worst of the evening. Oh well, they can't all be winners.

 

I'm more than thankful for the notes section. Be sure to add if you don't want sides, an item in the dish, or want additional sauce. Just fill out the FOR directly under the name of the dish with the information. We tried this on our first time here and it's prevented so much wanted food.

 

 

He's going back to Galaxy Pavilion. I'm going to see if there's anything worthwhile at the buffet. I'll report back.

Buffet tonight was...very consistent with my NCL buffet experiences. As a very famous cruiser (chiefmate) told me, I should try out a few items, rather than just one. They also told me to try a couple different times. So now, every time I cruise I endeavor to try the buffet a couple times. Tonight was the night. 

 

As normal, I dont want to go back. Why must my standards be good food that is tasty. I don't care how it's presented. Remember, I'm the KFC, McDonald's, Taco Bell guy! Throw in some Olive Garden and Five Guys for good measure.

 

As I write this, I'm chilling in the Observation Lounge, enjoying a Dark and Stormy waiting for my husband to finish his games. Shoes on, but don't worry - if you want to go sockless, I won't judge. 🫠

 

 

Plenty of space in the Observation Lounge this evening. Where are the crowds? Lots of space in Indulge, the buffet and here. Did everyone walk the plank?

 

Now, for the buffet. Two plates. Tonight is kofta night, so I tried the lamb and beef. There is also chicken and pork.

 

Plate one - Mac and cheese, lamb kofta, potatoes au gratin, and normal looking pizza. Not the weird stuff from earlier. 

 

 

I had a bite of the kofta and pizza. Done! So, no good pizza on the ship. The kofta was dry, very dry. I did finish the potatoes au gratin and got seconds! As you'll see below.

 

Plate two was vegetable lo mein, beef kofta, more yummy potatoes au gratin, and some grilled vegetables.

 

 

I did not finish the kofta or lo mein. The vegetables and potatoes au gratin were the standouts of the evening. 

 

The buffet, overall, gets a C. Staff were super attentive, kind, and gracious. I wish they were provided the tools to make delicious food as I am sire they would prefer to have haply and stuffed guests.
