I have questions regarding parking either at the Port Everglades or an independent company for our cruise in January.  Not sure if this board would provide this information or do I need to look at another board exclusively for parking?

There has been a recent price increase (now $20 day) at the Port parking garages so using an off port site may be attractive.  We have and still do use Park n Go which offers free (or included) shuttle to the ship that you are going to sail on.

I am traveling with my husband on a Princess Cruise leaving Nov. 20 from Port Everglades.  I understand that you cannot reserve parking at the port.  He is somewhat disabled so I'll have to deal with a mobility scooter and a collapsible wheel chair in addition to luggage.  It would be a huge problem for us if there were no spaces available in that lot.  Have you ever found it full, or is that just not an issue?  Thanks!

Don’t forget that disembarking passengers are departing before you arrive.  We normally arrive around 10:30 and have our choice of spaces in the Heron Garage (if you are departing from terminal 2).  The same should hold true if you are departing from another terminal and using the Palm Garage.

Thanks so much, Capriccio.  Considering all the things I'm juggling, I'd much rather park at the pier than an off-site lot even if the cost is a bit higher.  The only thing putting me off was the inability to reserve a space.  I feel much better about it now!!
