On the ship…. Lots of other rumors flying around.  Ship has been boarded for hours now so the late start not the issue.  Maintenance issue or CBP clearance issue is what I assumed, but now word that someone was taken off in cuffs and emergency vehicles dock side, and supposedly some man may have been stabbed by his wife!?!?! Guess we will find out soon!

Here on the ship. Purchased KEY, didn’t board until after noon. Usually able to get on at 10:30. Was originally told sail away was pushed back until 8, due to “technical issues.” 8 o’clock rolls around and captain comes on saying we won’t be leaving until 10, not stating a reason why. Rumors start floating around about a stabbing of some sort??? Can’t confirm if that’s true but interesting to hear. Didn’t get out of Miami until around 11:45 to midnight. What a day.

I read on another social media site that Mickey and Minie had a fight, Minie ran away and there was CBP intelligence that Miney was a stowaway on the Oasis.  It was very hard to find Minie amongst the many other rats onboard.  But, after hours and hours of the USCG searching here, there, and everywhere, Minie was found in the dessert pantry, removed from the ship, and reunited with Mickey.  It was reported that Mickey forgave Minie and all is just hunke-dory with them, now.  The ship sailed away just a few hours late without further interruption.  No humans or animals were harmed during the posting of this discussion.

This is definitely an unfortunate event but fortunately no one died. Oasis of the Seas is no stranger to tragic events. These are a few incidents in the past:

  • fire - 2008 (during ship construction)
  • propulsion/power loss - 2010, 2012, 2014
  • 2010 - AquaTheatre (the hydraulic floor collapsed)
  • structural damages - 2019 (crane fell during drydock in Freeport Bahamas)
  • deaths - overboard (2010, 2015, 2020), 2022, crew (2010, 2011, 2020, 2022)
  • injuries/crimes - 2011 (crew), 2014, kid near drowning (2015), overboard (2015)
  • medevacs - 2015, 2020 (2 crew)
  • Norovirus (passengers/crew) - 2013 (?), 2018 (385/17), 2019 (561/31)
  • Coronavirus - 2020 (17 crew, including 3 deaths)

I really think that social media sight is passing fake news.  Don’t be silly, everyone knows Minnie would never leave the upper crust life with Mickey.

However, the best laid plans of mice and men, often go awry.

Want to know how to spot a Pinnacle member? Do nothing and they will find many ways to let you know unsolicited that has nothing to do with the topic at hand!!  🤣😂

They even wear their badges on their swimwear.
