Sailfish Posted November 20, 2023 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2023 We have a stateroom with no balcony, just a window. Is it possible to have the Ultimate Balcony Dinner set up outside somewhere on the ship? Anywhere would be fine, just not in our cabin. Just curious. Thanks. Rare 1025cruise Posted November 20, 2023 #2 Share Posted November 20, 2023 While it might be able to be arranged on ship, expect to be told no.
BabsinTX Posted November 20, 2023 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2023 The crew members usually bring a table, then return it if you have one in your cabin or balcony. I feel like they would try their best to accomodate you.
reedprincess Posted November 21, 2023 #4 Share Posted November 21, 2023 I have heard of people being accommodated in a small area of the Sanctuary - those in insides or ocean views. Haven't tried it personally but it doesn't seem unreasonable to accommodate a solid portion of their guests that don't book balcony or above. Astro Flyer Posted November 21, 2023 #5 Share Posted November 21, 2023 We had a UBD moved into our balcony cabin due to inclement weather. Although there might not be sufficient room in an oceanview cabin. It doesn’t hurt to ask onboard & if they have few UBDs booked they might provide the dinner…a great experience! 😊
Rare AnyMajorCruiseDude Posted November 21, 2023 #6 Share Posted November 21, 2023 We have done the UBD in inside cabins, oceanview cabins, window suites, and in different public areas ondeck. Its always great. 4

Rare AnyMajorCruiseDude Posted November 21, 2023 #8 Share Posted November 21, 2023 Here you go. Best location ever thanks to Neville Saldana. Deck 15 aft, behind the one-five, Grand Princess Transatlantic. 4

I assume you made you request courteously and, afterwards, thanked Mr. Saldana profusely.
Sox Fan Cruiser Posted November 21, 2023 #12 Share Posted November 21, 2023 When I read the OP's question my initial reaction was "NO WAY!!". I'm really glad that Princess is able to accommodate this. Enjoy!

He was right! 2

He was right! That's a terrific story. Three UBDs on a single cruise???? Did you check with the Guinness people to see if that was some kind of record? One per cruise is our max. It was a long cruise, so we were able to just do one each week. It's really a great value, well worth the price.
