We've had lunch at the Patio on embarkation day in the past, but not recently

That’s always been my experience. I’ve also often not seen it open on the evening of Day 1 but I suspect as reported this varies from cruise to cruise and may also be down to hotel director preference and whether it’s a large staff turnover day or not

The sign was up to prevent through traffic on the day of the BBQ on deck - all of the food and the barbecue itself were located in the Patio area. The notice was removed as soon as the area was cleared
