PVP Refundable or Nonrefundable

Is Princess Vacation Protection Refundable if it’s BEFORE final payment?

Pretty sure it is. I hate to lose $$ for something I didn't use and I don't recall ever losing $$ when I cancelled a cruise.

Q: What if I want to cancel my PVP coverage? How does that work?
A: PVP is refundable until final payment is due. For new bookings made within final payment, the PVP plan cost is only refundable within 10 days of purchase provided the person hasn't departed on the trip nor filed a claim.

If you don't pay the PVP until final payment, then it's a wash if you cancel before then, you're not charged for it.

Are you SURE you want to cancel this?  Hopefully you have made some other type of trip protection...

Just go into your Cruise Personalizer and have it removed (remove the check box).

Oh I never travel without travel insurance. If I cancel, it’ll be because I need to cancel the whole trip.

Glad to hear it!  We hear way too many horror stories from people here on CC that are just not travel-savvy and think that insurance is an "I don't need it" item.

Yeah, I know. I’d much rather pay and never need it than wish I had it. I have actually had a claim, though, and was so thankful I had the insurance.
