Whale watching Cabo or Puerto Vallarta?

Cabo will be much better.  Sadly Guerrero Negro is to far away.  It's the birthing spot for whales.  The mothers will bring their babies right up to the boat to be petted.  There's dozens of videos on Youtube.  We haven't done it yet but it's on the list.  February they start heading north but it still should be good watching.  We usually start seeing them in front of our condo around mid/end of February going north.

Those port hours (often awful with NCL) will pose a real problem, if you want to find a local whale watching tour.  You might want to consider doing a NCL Excursion,..assuming they offer a whale watching option.

A you book a whale watching boat right from the pier in Cabo?   We’re just there 7-2 - ugh…

Can you book at the pier? Is that what you are asking? Typically, yes.

Whale watch tours are usually 2-3 hours tops. You have time.
