Flying into FLL Cruising out of Miami; Looking for 2 night pre-cruise beach resort

We are flying into FLL and will have 2 nights to relax at a beach resort before boarding our cruise out of Miami.  Prefer a quiet classy resort but not too pricey. Not sure even which beach to look at.  Suggestions?   Thank you

I vote for the Lago Mar.  Quiet, classy, and it's next to the channel leaving port everglades. You can watch the ships sail away.

Please note that Lago Mar is NOT Mar-a-Lago. Lago Mar in Fort Lauderdale has been under the ownership of the Banks family (locals) for forever. A family member also owns the resort in Costa Rica that's been featured on The Bachelor a couple of seasons.

Margaritaville Resort on Hollywood Beach is a beautiful but pricey hotel right on the beach. As for prices it really makes a difference regarding time of the year. December thru April is usually the highest rates and June, July, August and September are the most reasonable.

There's also the Hilton Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale.
