Confused - Under Purchased drink packages it says "Plus Beverage package -50"

What does the  "-50" part mean? wasn't on our plus package last year.   Gave Deposit January 2023 and made final payment October 2023 - sailing Feb 2024

Plus 50 is those who bought the Plus Cruise Package before Dec 14, 2022 - which is when the packages changed, added a few extras (juice bar, desserts, medallion shipping), and raised in price to $60 per night..

 

If you actually deposited on your cruise in January 2023, it should be Plus 60. And, you'd be grandfathered in on the new additions added in August 2023. (Room service, ocean Now, casual dining, etc). And should you be able to show you booked and paid January 2023, then you should have Plus 60.

 

If you actually deposited prior to Dec 14, 2022 - then you'd be under the old package, no desserts or room service or classes or juice bar or whatever was added after..

Regarding room service under Plus 50, it's not that there's no room service, it's that there's a service charge for room service ordered by phone. I can't recall at this (senior) moment if the charge is $5 or $15. Room service ordered through the app has no service charge regardless of which package, if any, you have.

Thanks all - Figured out someone screwed up between Princess and Travel Agent - both claim to have it fixed before sailing next month. Paid for the extras - we want them available even if we might not use them all.

The room service fee is $5.00 . We just had this same situation on our B2B. First leg we had re-fared and had to purchase the Plus 60. On the second leg, 15 day TA we had the Plus 50. 

 Plus 50 had everything except the 2 casual dining options, terrible  deserts, juice bar and most importantly the Oceans Now activation.

 To upgrade it would've been $300.00 for the 2 of us. We decided to activate my wifes Ocean Nows at a cost of $14.95. This enabled us to order drinks or food to our room or wherever we were at no additional cost.

We cruised on the Sky in June 2023 and had purchased the Plus package before it changed. The ONLY thing that changed for us was the limit on the beverages. No desserts, no juice bar... and NO free shipping for the medallion which was contradicted on the Princess website nut Princess did not believe us.
