Curious, how were you notified this was added?

Saw it flash by when looking at Hub App while onboard.  Confirmed at casino bar to be sure.

We got a survey just after our sailing on the Venezia in November.  My response was pretty brutal because the smoke in that casino is the worst we have EVER encountered on any cruise ship we have sailed on.  The smoke permeates all over the place and especially down the hall toward the "smoke free" annex and into the 3 level atrium.  I tried to contact Carnival about it but kept getting passed around to different departments.  We are sailing on the Venezia again in 2 days (it was booked before our November sailing) but will probably not spend any time in the casino unless by some miracle they addressed the smoke issue.

There's a Casino Players section on the Hub app now. I'm pretty sure that's where I noticed mine was listed.

I have not gotten a casino pre-cruise survey , but I think that my comments might help improve the casino experience for me.  Less smoke would be good.  Better bar service would also help -- half the time I want a drink (a soft drink for me), I walk to the nearest bar because there is no cocktail server in sight. More hand-shuffle, fewer continuous shuffle machines.  I spend a lot of time in the casino, and have lots of helpful suggestions which I make in the post-cruise survey.

No smoke would be a plus.  Just got off RCL Allure and they have a separate non smoking casino however it is relatively small but it was really nice being able to breath and not smell of smoke

We received a survey from the casino for our upcoming cruise on Venzenia. It was asking questions about how much time/ money we plan to spend. It also asked the percentage of time compared to other venues we plan to spend in the casino. Other questions about role of the casino host, comps, drinks for guest etc. I have never received these before (nor never heard of them). Wondering if changes are coming to casino offers?

I got the survey too, I did not answer the question about how much I plan to spend.

First time getting a casino survey a couple of days ago before going on an Elite next week. I thought it was just because it was an Elite cruise that was coming up. I'll be interested to see how they use the information. I asked them to please remove the non-playing loitering smokers in the casino so that the people who really wanted to play could actually find an open machine. 🙂

Helpful for you maybe, but I can guarantee they're not looking for suggestions that are going to give any edge (back) to the player😆

Carnival is adding this to ships as they are drydocked, where space allows. The Vista just got one. I think all the Dream class has it now. The Excel class were built with it. Etc.

One benefit of the smoke-free casino annex on Carnival is you're more likely to get a drink from a server if you have DOU (and maybe even get it faster).

I got the survey you describe and don't even have a future cruise booked.  I responded, I can't imagine they'd make offers based on how much I say I'm going to gamble, but rather continue tracking how much gambling I actually do.  Wondering about the purpose as well.

I just got another survey email today.  The button doesn't work so I can't take the survey.  I tried it in two different browsers.

This is an Alaskan cruise (NOT an Australian cruise)  on Carnival Spirit, but the email refers to it as Carnival Spirit-Aus.

You would think, but this was not the case on the Vista last month.

Servers didn't come into the smoke-free annex very often on the Venezia in October.

On Magic this past September, there was at least one roaming bar waiter in the smoke-free annex pretty much any time they had the tables open. That didn't mean it was always easy to get a drink. But probably easier than the smoking casino.

Same on the Breeze. Pretty easy to get a drink from the waiter or walk up to the close by bar 🙂

That was my experience on whatever my last Dream class ship was, in the casino annex.
