Casino Survey

We received a survey from the casino for our upcoming cruise on Venzenia. It was asking questions about how much time/ money we plan to spend. It also asked the percentage of time compared to other venues we plan to spend in the casino. Other questions about role of the casino host, comps, drinks for guest etc. I have never received these before (nor never heard of them). Wondering if changes are coming to casino offers?

I got one for each of my two Venezia cruises.   Now that I think about it, I don't remember getting them on any other sailings.   Maybe specific to Venezia?

I received the survey for our Nov 2023 Mardi Gras sailing.

That casino needs help.

I don't know if I would feel comfortable filling out how much I plan on spending. If I give a low amount, will my casino offers come to an end? If I give a high amount, will they sign me up for gamblers anonymous?

Seriously though, I always take the same amount budgeting a limit for each day of the cruise. Sometimes my winnings on the first or second day cover the rest of the cruise where I don't have to spend my own money anymore. How does one "truthfully" answer that question?

There's no requirement to complete.  If you don't feel comfortable providing the information, skip the survey.  To answer truthfully, it would be the amount that you typically budget per day.

I skip the cruise surveys since they don't offer anything. I did a survey for my Corvette and my wife's Lexus. We were compensated $600 for the Corvette survey and $250 for the Lexus survey.

The one time I received the survey a week before sailing I submitted it back. One night in the casino I asked the Host why I received this and she said it was just a random computer pull. 10 minutes later she came back and asked if we wanted Steakhouse dinner for two or a bottle of wine.

Of course we took the Dinner.

My husband got one of these prior to our last sailing on the Mardi Gras. I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but when the survey asked what would incentivize him to spend more time in the casino, he answered "free drinks." Then, when we got on board, he got a message in the app that he had been given free drinks in the casino (and we weren't sailing on a casino offer where he was already getting this) nor had he spent in time in the casino yet because we hadn't even set sail yet. So you never know.

Please tell them that you would spend much more money there if they figured out the smoke problem. 🙂

I did put on the survey that my time and money would depend on how smokey the casino was. Then it turned out the smoke wasn't that bad. I never did get the follow up survey.

We have filled out this survey numerous times since they launched it and not once have we received any additional perks or heard a peep from them.  For clarity we don’t expect anything and just replying about some who had thoughts that the survey may have generated perks.  Maybe it did for them but certainly not our experience.  I asked a few hosts and they seem to know less than I did.

Just got another survey for next weeks cruise.  I choose to complete them with the hope that someone is reading these we will see results in positive changes

I have not gotten a casino pre-cruise survey , but I think that my comments might help improve the casino experience for me.  Less smoke would be good.  Better bar service would also help -- half the time I want a drink (a soft drink for me), I walk to the nearest bar because there is no cocktail server in sight. More hand-shuffle, fewer continuous shuffle machines.  I spend a lot of time in the casino, and have lots of helpful suggestions which I make in the post-cruise survey.

I got a casino survey shortly before my recent Magic cruise and filled it out online.  Not sure if this has anything to do with the survey, but was pleasantly surprised to receive "drinks on us while playing" in the casino.

Curious, how were you notified this was added?
