Elation in port Canaveral?

Hey guys,watching the webcam at port Canaveral the Elation is there anyone know why?

According to her track she did an abrupt about face and headed straight to PC.  More than likely a medical emergency.

Just curious. I thought is was odd to see her in pc. We sail on her Feb. 24th our 23rd trip on carnival.

Had to divert to Port Canaveral because their fresh water system wasn’t work. Had to get a new supply.

Believe they escorted an individual off the ship for fight and then fighting  the crew.  They had 8 police escort him off.

We sail on her the Feb 5th.  It is also our 23rd Carnival cruise!

I retired October 1 2023 have sunshine booked for October, when we do our taxes 1 more this summer. Retirement is pretty good!!!

We just retired this past year too!  And yea, loving retirement!  Going to be grandparents for the first time this July too.  Sooo Excited!

My wife seen on the news it was a sick passenger.

We had an emergency medical stop in PC when we were coming back to Jacksonville on Elation on our Thanksgiving cruise.  Never found out what it was all about.

So it was a sick passenger, a fight or they were out of fresh water.

It was a passenger that was sick after a fight that was started because the ship was out of fresh water.

Here is a picture of the person kicked off ship and escorted off Jan 28th Port Canaveral.  He does look thirsty however.

I was just thinking that I saw a tiktok of the guy getting escorted off. I'll have to try to find it and link it.

Anybody know why the Elation is not in port yet? 0700 Feb 1, today is return day.

I saw a Facebook post that they are a drift at sea 25 miles from port. They are waiting on a tug boat.

Elation is now passing Mayport in the St Johns River, so will be at the port soon

disembarkation will not begin until around 1030 from a FB post

 

embarkation for the next cruise is also delayed too

So whatever's wrong will be fixed and it will go back out today?

Elation departed Jacksonville around 7:30 PM and is expected in Nassau early Saturday morning.

Retired almost 2 years ago. Used to live in the Upstate b/w Greenville and Spartanburg. After retiring we moved to Surfside Beach
