What NEW small changes would you like to see?

All the ships should currently have this. Pizza, chicken tenders, grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, meatball sandwiches hips, chips and salsa, cookies I believe.

While I appreciate the effort, and with the exception of chips and salsa, none of this appeals to me. I don’t want something heavy before I go to bed; I just need something to soak up that alcohol.  🙂

Something like little individual cups of Chex mix, sesame, crackers, Chinese

rice crackers, pretzel sticks, peanuts, and pumpkin seeds.

I doubt it would be more expensive, and it would cut down on labor.

Or at least have it as an option.

I'd like to see all of the major sports networks available in the bars that have TVs, and give the bartenders the ability to change the channels on request.

Perhaps if they bring the sports betting to the ships that they have been talking about, that might happen.

Years and years ago I remember they had little dishes of goldfish, etc at the bar. The following cruise they didn’t and I remember asking about this and the bar tender said they discontinued because the snacks got stale sitting out. 🤷‍♀️

Yeah. Excuses, excuses.

this would be a great idea, especially making them a little spicy would encourage more drinks.

They could just have them delivered WITH drinks. Problem solved.

I remember asking JH for this a couple years ago, and his response was something to the effect of not wanting everyone digging out of the same bowl. SMH. Whatever 🙄

What I think is more likely is that people would be taking the entire bowl of snacks back to their room or their lounge chair. I have to think this is why they don't serve potato chips or any other really portable snack food.

They disappeared around the time some new GI virus was making the rounds or when there was a surge of norovirus outbreaks on cruises.  That was the official line, that they didn't want people eating out of community snack bowls and potentially spreading those viruses.

I looked at the menu in the morning and knew what I wanted hours ago.

I recognize that I am the weirdo because I have mostly determined what I am going to eat every night weeks before I even step on the boat while the rest of my family don't even bother until they are seated.  I am pleased to see my people are out there.

Helping ones self on the buffet is certainly more germy than picking up a little bowl of Chex mix.

Whatever snacks they do come out with in the future just make sure it is not a community bowl thing.  We have seen some disgusting habits on cruise ships when it comes to food and I mean by adults not just kids.

We solve the lite snack thing by bringing our own gold fish crackers, pretzels and oyster crackers in the little snack bags.  Great for grabbing something with a drink in the cabin or if one of us just needs a little bite of something before bed.

One more suggestion:  Serve Steakhouse Brunch at least once during every cruise.

I have been eaten it twice and with over 200 cruise days, they are the best meals I have ever eaten on a cruise ship. And at $28 (including a mimosa or Aperol spritz, it's a bargain!

I know this can be an unpopular opinion, but I REALLY miss REAL straws, those candy ones are disgusting and definitely can't be used in all cocktails.

I keep a box of plastic straws in my suitcase for when we go on cruises and to AIs. If you have a bunch you become everyones new best friend on board.

Absolutely hate the candy straws, we bring reusable straws as we use same at home so no big deal.

On our last cruise in December on MG we watched a small child (maybe 4 or 5) going from empty glass to empty glass left on tables in center stage area.  She was crunching and eating the straws before her parents (assumed they were) saw her and ran over to yank her away from another empty table.  By then she must have had at least 3 or 4 discarded straws left in the glasses😱.  Guess her parents should have been paying more attention to where she ran off to while they were talking to their group at another table.  Thank goodness they didnt have those straws when DS (now 21) was young.

Me. Me. Me. And I’ve been on same ship twice (Venezia) since June. Going in March and may and food is picked. Steakhouse day one in March. Know what I’m having. Held off may, 2025 but today booked enchanted princess! Haven’t been on a Princess cruise in 90 years! AHHHHHH. I just opened a whole new can of worms. HELP! 🤯😳😫

It would be nice if they added a date range option on the booking engine so you can look for cruises on a specific day

Travel agent websites do that. You don't have to book with them obviously. But something to look into.

How about this:

If you are on a Carnival Corporation cruise ship, and another Carnival Corporation ship (same line or a different one) is at the same port at the same time, offer free or really cheap tours of the other boat. A quick tour around the common areas and a beverage from one of the bars, and off. I would love to board one of my ship's, sisters and see what she looks like inside. Who knows - it might end up selling a few cruises!

The only time this is allowed is on turnaround day with very specific circumstances. The visitors have to be escorted at all times etc.

That doesn't mean they can't change it.

This is a wishlist so anything is up for discussion obviously. But I know that once JH wanted to tour a Carnival Corp ship while in port one day. He was not allowed as he was not on the manifest. Very strict rules. Just keeping expectations in check.
