Is there a website or other venue where various shore excursions are discussed and reviewed?

Otherwise, for private websites of independent tours, just google tours and operators at the different ports of call in which you are interested.

Some cruise lines have reviews on their shore excursions.  I've seen this on Princess and Carnival.  Celebrity does not.

I'm on Oceania and I don't see any reviews.  I'm leaning toward going on my own in certain ports but also see the value in an organized tour.  It's a conundrum!

They also censor their reviews, at least Carnival does. I once submitted 2 on the same cruise. One was extremely positive, the other quite negative. I am sure you can guess correctly which got posted and which was not posted as it did not meet their standards.
