Majestic balcony question

First timer on Majestic in a penthouse cabin on deck 14

Can cabin balconies above (deck 15) look down onto our balcony or are the balconies directly above each other?

Yes, the AFT of this ship is tiered or stepped, so decks can be seen from decks above.

Here is a good video, drone, showing the back of the ship.

Start at about the 5:00 minute mark.

The aft penthouse balconies are huge and wraparound while the mid aft balconies are very narrow

You can see the railing of the deck above, which overlooks this balcony.

You do not have an aft balcony so  the balconies are directly above each other

OHHHH...   I was thinking 'penthouse suite' and one of those AFT.

Yes,  if you are on the port side of the ship, then this will be covered and not visible from above.

Got off the Ruby and our balcony on Riviera looked down on the full balconies below

The Majestic is not like the Ruby

 

if your

stateroom is portside

near Concierge Lounge

the balcony is covered

and cannot be seen from Marina deck

above

That precludes any aft terraced cabin. OP said near the CL. I had a suite directly across the hallway from the CL.

Fully covered balcony. Wide but no depth.
