We stopped at Anvers when we were on a tour out of Burnie earlier in the year. The visit included a slice of deliciously wicked cake and the best hot chocolate I've ever had.

Yum!  We didn’t have time to stop at the onsite cafe.  We were encouraged to have a look at the “behind the scenes” of the factory but there was no-one working in the kitchens on show.

There weren't many people working in the kitchens when we were there either. Just two, I think, making Valentine hearts.

Then it was the only show I was able to book through the app.  Persephone.  This runs for an hour and you stand on the floor watching the performers dance, sing & perform aerials above you.  I was one of the first on the floor but followed the lead of a couple of other cruisers and headed upstairs to the very small seating area - mainly in the hope of it being less loud.
Photos are a mix of mine & the better ones from the floor are with permission from my roll call members.527EDEF8-5E8C-4DAF-8117-7F9CEA5ECC80.thumb.jpeg.348bb70a66095d90d25ce741987d1319.jpeg

Sounds like you had a great time and thankyou for sharing this journey  on the resilliant lady.

The North west coast of Tasmania is very under rated in my opinion and has somegreat places  from Devonport through to Smithton   in which makes Burnie a good port of call.

in my opinion Cradle mountain is a good place to visit   but i do believe you need more then a day  trip to explore this great region  of Tasmania.

i have certainly loved  reading and looking at your photo's

Thank you.  Yes, I would very much like to return and explore the region as part of a road trip of Tasmania and give it the time it deserves.

I didn't see the Arcade either.  It is that kind of ship, full of surprises.

I took a wrong turn on day 4 of our cruise and found the Games Room by mistake, boy wouldn't the ankle biters like to sail on her. Found the Pizza place the same way, wrong turn and was eating pizza 10 minutes later. We loved every minute on board this ship.

We found the Pizza Place by accident as well. We decided to try sitting out on the wide promenade deck one afternoon, went out one side of the ship which was in full sun, decided it was too hot there so went across to the other side which was where the Pizza Place was. Even though we knew where it was it still took a bit of finding on the last day when we wanted pizza for lunch.
