wintertexancruiser Posted February 23 #1 Share Posted February 23 Our cruise port is in Amsterdam and we are interested in a tour. Can anyone suggest one they took and enjoyed. Thanks
Rare ski ww Posted February 23 #2 Share Posted February 23 A very short distance from where the ship docks are the canal boats that do the canals tours of the city. There are also HAL ships tours that are offered after the ship docks. Don't know what you're interested in or how much time you have in Amsterdam. And coaches are not always able to enter some of the central area which is better explored on foot.

Swash Buckler Posted March 3 #6 Share Posted March 3 Take a Canal cruise, or visit the Big Museums around Museum Square. The Rijksmuseum for the Nightwatch or The Van Gogh Museum. Next to the Gogh is the City Museum for modern art. Anne Frank house is also an option. All the musea are easily reached by public transport. Reservations for the Musea are recommended especially the Anne Frank house.

Rare love2crews. Posted April 5 #9 Share Posted April 5 We booked with Private Day Tours Amsterdam (Steve). He was AMAZING. If you can only do one thing, I would suggest Giethoorn. It's surreal. Here's my live thread where I detailed everything we did (including tour providers, hotels, transfers, etc.) Feel free to ask any questions. Enjoy your time in Amsterdam. acme510 Posted April 16 #10 Share Posted April 16 Have a question about your tour that you booked with Steve in Amsterdam. Did you have to specifically request him or the only one guide through this sight?
