Nope I take you at your word and stand corrected.  My TA does not charge a change fee and that was not what motivated my comment.  I was just unsure of the impact, if any, (by Celebrity) on a category change with an on board booking booked with a NRD.  You enlightened me.

We have been booking concierge guarantee (often very close to cost of choosing veranda room) and usually get room assignment quickly...have never felt the need to change what was assigned.
