Blue Chip Club Member Offers!

Just inquiring about what fellow Blue Chip Members are seeing as of late for offers coming from Celebrity. Last year we were getting FREE offer's all the time and did book a couple for this year. But as of January 2024 we’ve been getting offers like $50-$100 off a room.

Is anyone else seeing this change in offers?

The offers for free cruises for just about any member were when ships were half full after covid. They wanted people onboard to spend money. they don't need to do that now so I expect there will only be free cruises for high rollers

We also would get free veranda offers a few years ago but now we only we inside cabins and maybe ocean view.  When I call though they do offer an upgrade to veranda(at last the last time) for a very minimal amount($50 pp) which I felt was worth it.  I do check bluechipcluboffers.com every so often to see what is offered and then call.  Can always find something I can live with!

My husband just received a mailer from Celebrity Blue Chip on Saturday.  The offer was for inside and veranda staterooms.  6, 7, 11 and 13 night cruises.

Pretty slim pickings, given that it's not uncommon to come off the ship +/- $10k (black chip BJ player).

 

The free insides are only for a few 3/4 night Reflection sailings.

If I got those offers for concierge even if shorter cruise I would jump on it.  My offers are now very limited.  I did get a veranda for an upgrade fee to a 7 night to Bermuda.  Not complaining.

I’m in the same boat - got a bunch of offers for free cabins in the past couple years. Mostly interiors, and a veranda or two. 

Since December or January I have gotten at least 6 offers, but they’re all just $100 off. 
 

I can’t really complain, as I really never gambled enough to justify getting comps. It’s disappointing, but I fully understand. If I was dropping thousands in the casino on all my cruises I’d probably be upset, but I never lose more than a couple hundred dollars.

Most of the offers are offered online, bluechipcluboffers.com, most of my offers have been the usual, veranda /concierge with plenty of choices including transatlantic. My issue is the online offers are targeting cruises only up until June, and have a few on the books already for this year

My direct mailings have been non existent as of late. The casino host on the Ascent told me they were transitioning to online offers, for better or worse.
