carlyman Posted March 5 #1 Share Posted March 5 My extended family and I will be traveling on Ascent later this year; a total of 13 of us (including a couple teens). Any suggestions on which specialty dining options might work best for a group that size (or...what ones would NOT work well)?
Rare PTC DAWG Posted March 5 #2 Share Posted March 5 I could see a group that big needing 3 tables…
Rare hcat Posted March 5 #3 Share Posted March 5 maybe Le Petit Chef..as a group might be fun. I think Rooftop Grill and EDEN might work ok with advance discussion with maitre d.. Fine Cut, Bistro on 5, and Raw on 5 probably not the best due to layout but it never hurts to check!
Rare Galaxy2004 Posted March 5 #4 Share Posted March 5 Agree with @hcat - We saw a large group in Eden who had 2 large round tables reserved, maybe 6 - 8 at each. Probably nothing big enough for 13 at one table.
jelayne Posted March 5 #5 Share Posted March 5 Le Petit Chef would be a good choice. I’ve food and a entertaining show.
carlyman Posted March 5 Author #6 Share Posted March 5 Sorry, should have mentioned I assume we'll likely need 2 tables (hopefully not 3). Thanks for the recommendations! We were thinking Raw on 5, but was worried about the layout.
Orator Posted March 5 #7 Share Posted March 5 I’m sure you will respect others. I’ve seen two tables where some people talked in a loud voice between the tables and disturbed others.
carlyman Posted March 5 Author #8 Share Posted March 5 We're generally a pretty quiet group, but worth keeping in mind when split up. ...what's the easiest way to book a large reservation like this? Should we call once reservations open up? (we have concierge rooms...which I know, doesn't really give you much.)
