Haiti has been a wreck for more then 30 years.

 Hope cruise ships stop going to Dominican Republic .

Haiti is a separate country from the DR. The Dominican ports Princess serves are hundreds of miles away from Haiti. They're too far away to be much affected by what happens there.

The Dominican Republic is a very popular vacation destination for many, many people.  Lots of 5* resorts.  Why would a cruiseship be any different?

So they say. Either way you won't miss much even if you remain aboard the ship.

Amber Cove is close to 100 miles from the border with Haiti, a border that the DR patrols pretty well.

Not surprising since Labadee is in Haiti.   Certainly not a port that any cruiseship should be taking their passengers.
