YC Pool Deck

On our last sailing on Mera only made it up one time on a port day. Stayed for about 1 hour. Definitely looking forward to more time this cruise in May.

We will try the breakfast buffet and the lunch buffet this time. What did we miss out on by not utilizing the pool deck? Other then bartenders what personnel are up on the pool deck? What amenities are available? thanks.

Pool deck is also staffed by several butlers and waiters that you will recognize from the dining and lounge area. The YC Director if (s)he is a good one will pass through several times a day, checking on service and engaging with the guests. 
 

We find it to be a very convivial atmosphere and often meet and chat with other guests.

We really enjoyed the pool deck went daily for breakfast and lunch, one day chef made a pasta sauce in front of us, it was delicious.

Not sure if you’ve booked Meraviglia again for your May cruise but if so, check out the pergolas on the pool deck.  There are three, I think. Two are reserved for upper suites but the third is available for rent. I was shocked at the price of $40 for the day!  It could be more now. Anyway, the pool staff set it up with ice, waters, drinks of any kind, towels and waited on us hand and foot all day. The shade was great and so were the views. It was the best 40  bucks we spent!  You can reserve with the concierge.
