Steak in mdr every night?

I'm getting a kick out of this thread.  Over on the NCL pages there is discussion of how NCL has apparently eliminated all beef dishes from the MDR menus with the exception of the NY Strip which is available every evening (and is simply awful). One poster was doing a live report a couple weeks ago and posted each night's menus.  Sure enough, not one beef dish offered on any night in the MDR.

Personally, I found the steak on the Regal Princess in the MDR to be mediocre at best.  Admittedly, we did not pay extra for a steak.

That was our only complaint about Princess food on the cruise.

On Sky last year think steak was only a few days (filet for upcharge) but many meals had a decent beef cut, like medallions.  But many nights we wandered up to the buffet for desserts and they were cooking steak to order up there.  And they looked much better that those in the dining room.

This is not correct…available as ‘favourites’ in Australia…March 2024.

Yep. And also on the Europe sailings.

If you are going on the Sun Princess or Star Princess, they have the "American Strip Steak" in the MDR - American Diner (deck 8).  So, it is likely, you can get that steak on MDR - Traditional (deck 6) or MDR - Anytime (deck 7).  It is sounds like a striploin so it may be a little tough and has more gristle.  They also have the Country Fried Steak on deck 8 if you like that.
