Royal and Promotional Partnership

Recommended Posts

Reading about new endeavor with Hard Rock properties and curious as to how this will affect the MGM partnership. Recall reading about similar deal with an on line betting site but have not seen much about that lately. If all of these go through just seems like some winnowing likely.

Only guessing, but I’m expecting there to be few real perks for the Prime folks.  I expect any real perks will be offered to Masters and perhaps a few to Signature.

They're celebrating the new deal on Icon this week. Messi burgers (a Hard Rock menu item) are being served and I know someone in Star Class received a ton of Hard Rock swag (not sure what those in a standard cabin received).

Just guessing that the Hard Rock partnership will be based solely on casino activity on board ships vs the MGM deal which just requires a certain tier level with RCL's loyalty program for MGM benefits.

Waiting to hear more details about the partnership with Hard Rock and whether we will get some great hotel deals.

I think this was in the making for a long time.  It cant be a coincidence that the three levels of play for the hard rock (unity) are Icon, Star, and Legend.

Is it true that the 3rd Icon class ship will be called Legend of the Seas?

I was very surprised on carnival they have machines where you can bet on sports. Wonder why royal doesnt do that. Surely extra income for cruiseline.

Given the linkup with Hard Rock and their expansion back in Nov/Dec, that could be in the works.  Would make Playmakers into a whole new environment, which Royal may or may not want to create.

No. Legend is apparently the name for Oasis #7.

Someone posted that according to the website code, Icon #3 will have the code TR
