DH & I both getting casino offers--combine?

That's not really possible to combine offers as they are specific to a VIFP# and everyone has a unique VIFP#. You just need to take a look at both of your offers and whoever has the better offer at the time, gets to be "guest #1" of that booking. Or, if you book cruises by calling in or using a PVP or TA, they should do the legwork of researching who has the better offer at the time.

I have seen people post and I was told once when I asked that if we both had the same exact offer we could both get the perks offered.

I'm my case we both had the exact same offer that included drinks in the casino. I called and asked my PVP about it and he said yes we would both get drinks in the casino.

We ended up getting the drink package so I don't know really know if it would have worked.

But I have seen posts where they say they both got the drinks and OBC that was showing on their respective offers because it was the exact same offer for both🤷

I think most of those posts are fables

If you both qualify for the same offer at booking, you each get the same perks that apply to each booking that you were offered for that same date when you sail in the same cabin.

For example, if DH and I each have offer XYZ, and we both get drinks everywhere, but DH has $500 in funplay, yet I have $200, the offer for each of us would be, the cabin (for whomever was offered the better cabin), the drinks on us everywhere for both of us, and differing amounts of funplay.

Very possible. I will say that for quite some time me and husband got exact same offers but this year they are completely different. Luckily mine are better because I have more vacation time and can cruise with family members.

It’s not a fable, but also not the norm and more of an exception.  They don’t have to be the same offer either.  I did the verify offer thing once and the response I got back had me with one offer and my partner with another, and stated which benefits we received.  It doesn’t always seem to happen this way, so I’m not sure what I did in that booking, but was pleasantly surprised to see.

But in general, there is no “combining” of offers.

Carnival doesn't combine offers like Royal does.  On Royal, if my DH and I both have a free OV cabin, we will combine to get a free balcony cabin. On Carnival, you get the one person's best cabin offer only.  The extras (funplay, drinks, etc.) apply to each according to the terms of the offers.

I booked my upcoming Magic cruise with a casino offer- free play, dou everywhere, etc.. My pvp checked my dd's account to see if she had anything - she got dou in casino, less free play, etc.  She asked if my dh was sailing, as he also had an offer.  He wasn't, but she said she would have given him same offer as dd.  That would have been 3 offers for 1 cabin.  We all literally get casino offer emails everyday from CCL for all 3 of us - and dh hasn't sailed with them for 2 years.  Maybe we just have a great pvp.

My friend and her husband each had a good casino offer and wanted to sail Venezia..  OBC, Casino play and DOU everywhere. They just booked separate rooms.  She likes an  inside cabin and is in the casino for most of the cruise...lol.  He plays but likes to go to sleep early.  They have separate rooms at home so no big deal about not being together..
