CRu1853!! Posted June 2 #1 Share Posted June 2 In the past we have found the duvet on the beds to be too heavy. Is it possible to have the stateroom stewards change them for one that is lighter? Thanks
SilvertoGold Posted June 2 #2 Share Posted June 2 Ask and see what they can do. They do have nice blankets that are very lightweight.
dmcfad2 Posted June 2 #3 Share Posted June 2 We always have the duvet removed and replace it with two queen sized blankets. Just ask your room stewards.
cccole Posted June 2 #4 Share Posted June 2 Never thought of asking for blankets instead of a duvet. When we are in the South Pacific this could be very nice. Thank you for the thread. Cherie
Seasick Sailor Posted June 2 #5 Share Posted June 2 We ask on the Stateroom card to replace duvet with a blanket. The blankets are small. Ask for 2.
Rare Mary229 Posted June 2 #6 Share Posted June 2 Y’all must be cold blooded. I always ask for extra blankets to add to the layers , they always accommodate. 1
Seasick Sailor Posted June 3 #7 Share Posted June 3 The duvet covers are heavy and hot. MSH Is always cold. I ask for a fan and a regular blanket. He gets the double duvet and I get a light blanket.

albi Posted June 3 #10 Share Posted June 3 We always ask for the duvet to be removed and replaced by a blanket topped with a sheet! A nice alternative!

We ask for a fleece blanket (and get a king size one) and the guys put it in the light duvet cover. Looks nice on the bed and is the perfect weight for us.
