Rare david63 Posted June 9 #3 Share Posted June 9 As far as I am aware there is currently no restriction on taking water onboard, however you can buy it onboard and you can also drink the tap water.
Roaming Rover Posted August 7 #4 Share Posted August 7 There are drink fountains all around the ship where you can refill you bottle and encouraged to do so .

Rare Eglesbrech Posted August 8 #7 Share Posted August 8 14 hours ago, Lemorvan said: Just buy it, surely? I would agree, not worth lugging it on. For anyone out there who doesn’t know P&O do a special offer for water in the cabin. it is in cans now and they are resealable which is a vast improvement. I didn’t like the previous iteration as when you opened it for a quick drink it then went flat (for sparkling). I also take a small insulated flask and get a waiter to fill it in the dining room with iced water. I don’t trust the drinks fountains, too many people put pre used water bottles against the nozzle this spreading their germs. My big sis takes a mini squeezed thing to make fruit squash in the cabin as she doesn’t like plains water. It’s a tiny but lays all cruise. Fionboard Posted August 8 #8 Share Posted August 8 Tap water is fine. Just chill in your fridge. No need to buy it.

Yes you can take it onboard on joining, or on port days. Your choice. Drink the water out of the tap if you choose.

On Iona and Arvia they got water fountains for sure - I don't recall seeing any on Britannia unless they have added them in the refit? Totally agree,I tried it once and it was diabolical, the tap water in your own bottle then chilled in the fridge is fine. All this social media rubbish about it tasting salty and causing your feet to swell is rubbish, it tastes OK once it's chilled.
