Roll call is sleepy.  Bali to Singapore 1/2/25.

Approximate arrival for Millie at first day in Phuket 1/11/25 is 7am.  Any guess how soon we could be off the ship?  We want to go to an activity that starts at 9:30 and is a 40 minute ride away.

Start heading down 20 minutes early, if your status or room type like a suite gives you the ability to be escorted, use it.  If you don't, just make sure you arrive early to wait in the tender line and be vocal to the crew about needing an early tender due to an early tour

Ok thanks.  We’re in Retreat.  Can we just line up near security or will we be waved away for being in the way?  I’ve never left early.

They'll leave a printout in your room of where to meet to be escorted

Usually you simply go to the Retreat lounge about 10 minutes before you want to get off and the concierge will escort you to the front of the tender line. Occasionally there is a short wait if they are disembarking a large Celebrity tour group. Check with your concierge on boarding.

The Retreat Concierge escorted groups from the Retreat Lounge to the tender line.  Putting suite guests at the front of the line.

Would it be in @zitsky 's best interest to arrive a little early or does it not matter?  Only done the Capt's Club out of Micheals/Craft Social, they generally escort groups of around 25 at a time so there's still a bit of a wait unless you show up early

It didn’t matter.  The Concierges were escorting groups of various sizes.  They were in contact with tender operations and when a tender was ready they would take whoever wanted to go then.

I would always arrive a little early. You never know how weather, Celebrity direct to excursion craft etc may delay general departure times.

Thanks for the tips.  We’re going to the best private elephant excursion I could find.  Feeding only.  No riding, no bathing the elephants.  Minimal contact.  The sanctuary replied to me and said if we can get off 7-8 am we should be fine.

Enjoy! We loved Phuket but never did the elephant sanctuary. If you have the option of adding a beach break to your excursion avoid the busy tourist hot spots…

I am unsure what time the concierge comes on duty for escort duty to tenders. Could be worth checking on boarding the time tendering is expected to start and at what time the concierge staff come on duty. If tendering doesn’t start until 8.30am then you have time to contact your trip provider.

There are many places offering elephant excursions.  I had picked a different one until I read that being around a lot of people getting washed or having mud applied, isn’t something most elephants enjoy.  Some reviews of other places might say “they were tugging on ears, poking with sticks, sleeping in cages etc”.

This place used to do hikes also but they’ve stopped that.

We could do a beach.  He likes to snorkel, I like to swim.  I am not sure how far we would need to go from the port.  Apparently there is more than one cruise ship port so I need to figure out which one we’re going to.  I’ll check the schedule.
