lasekeye Posted July 12 #1 Share Posted July 12 My gut is telling me..NO, I don’t need to print boarding pass for the 2nd leg..but I’d like to be sure. I did complete check in for both legs though.
Joanne G. Posted July 12 #2 Share Posted July 12 I did a B2B last year on the Pride out of Dover. I did not print a boarding pass for the 2nd leg. A couple days before the end of the first cruise, you’ll get instructions on the procedure for the turnaround day, which can vary based on which port you will be at. I did not have to disembark, but I could have gotten off to explore Dover if I wanted to. It’s my understanding B2B passengers in U.S. ports do have to disembark and then immediately reboard. Have a wonderful vacation. B2B cruises are great.
Rare shof515 Posted July 12 #3 Share Posted July 12 Its better to bring a print out of your documents just in case there is issues like the ship does not have you on the b2b list

Would it hurt to print the boarding pass for the 2nd leg, just for peace of mind if nothing else?
mz-s Posted July 12 #5 Share Posted July 12 So according to Carnival's website, you only need to check in for your first cruise. https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4529/~/back-to-back-cruises

Rare MtnSeaGirl Posted July 15 #10 Share Posted July 15 We did not on the Horizon May 2023. The two cruises were linked. But, if I had known DH did not do it, I would have worried myself silly. Better safe than sorry if my motto.

Does it show up anywhere on any of your booking details? My PVP has always been good at taking care of everything, but it would still be reassuring to be able to verify it for myself. I never found a way to do so. I was concerned because I booked the 2 legs of my B2B's at different times. My long-time travel agent assured me they reservations were linked, but I still confirmed with Guest Services when I was onboard.

Once on board stop at Guest Services to verify that you're on the B2B list. 😎 3
Rare slavigne5577 Posted July 15 #15 Share Posted July 15 I am 10 days out from our B2B. We have same room on both. Is there any reason to print second leg luggage tags?

You do not need a boarding pass towards the end of you first leg you will get a letter with details of the procedure depending on Boarder Force, Customs or deep clean . Generally you can pick up your new key card and In Transit Card from 6am or at the meeting point , 9.30 am , if you don't want to do a tour. Ship needs a zero count to be clear before boarding can start. You ding off with one card don't mix them up . Each cruises is totally separate and nothing rolles over use up obc , close account, cash out casino etc . Sometimes there is a b2b lunch in the dining room 😜 .
