I have no personal experience on that, so my opinion may not be worth much. But I can tell you that I wouldn't book that one. Too much going on overhead for my liking. Bobpell54 Posted July 15 #4 Share Posted July 15 We were in that suite last Oct. Every morning around 5:30 to 6am there was rumbling overhead I suspect the deck crew were rolling carts of towels or food on the deck above Bob
Rare cr8tiv1 Posted July 15 #5 Share Posted July 15 Why Princess deems the deck under the pool as Suite Preferred is beyond me. To me (my opinion), worst location for a suite is under a public deck.
kapsgp Posted July 15 #6 Share Posted July 15 We were in R410 last November and occasionally heard some noise, but nothing that really bothered us. I was very concerned about those suites because I am sensitive to noise. I was presently surprised and would book one of those suites again. Rare Cruise Raider Posted July 15 #7 Share Posted July 15 We were just down the hallway a bit and it almost turned us off to cruising all together. I might take it now but only if it were a free upgrade from an inside cabin .. otherwise, I’d be hard pressed to actually book that cabin. Noise was 24/7! grak Posted July 16 Author #8 Share Posted July 16 Thanks for the response. I’ve done some further research and won’t be booking those suites. Why on earth would you pay a premium to be under the noise.
Rare cr8tiv1 Posted July 16 #9 Share Posted July 16 That doesn't leave you much of a choice either. I like suites. I don't care of the bow or aft locations. I know that some consider these premium locations. If Princess should build more ships... smaller is better Caribe/Dolphin would be ideal for mid-ship suites and a concierge's lounge
