Rare mkkao924 Posted July 21 #1 Share Posted July 21 I am wondering if OBC is transferrable to other cabin? I now have OBC that I don't think I can use them all, even after gratuities. We have three cabins, and I am wondering if there is a way for me to use my OBC to pay other cabin's gratuities or expenses?

I know of no way to directly transfer OBC from one folio to another, but ... Pre-cruise, if you have linked your three reservations online, you can use your OBC to purchase anything for another person in your party that they might like... shore excursions, spa treatments, specialty dining, etc. While aboard, it's a matter of providing your card for any expenses you would like to pick up (e.g., shorex, specialty dining, wine at dinner, etc.)
Rare cruisestitch Posted July 21 #3 Share Posted July 21 It can be done. Go to guest relations and fill out a form and sign it, and the OBC will be transferred.
wrk2cruise Posted July 21 #4 Share Posted July 21 I've not done it but I believe you can transfer OBC to others by going to guest relations.
WestLakeGirl Posted July 21 #5 Share Posted July 21 Very easy to do but don’t wait until the last day. It takes about 24 hours to be processed. Guest Relations can arrange it for you
wanderlust58 Posted July 21 #6 Share Posted July 21 My question is how do people access such large amounts of OBC? Besides using a travel agent and owning stock, what are other sources?

Besides using a travel agent and owning stock, what are other sources? For quite a few years now we were getting $800 OBC including tips, PDP, and premium WiFi for booking a Sky Suite. Book onboard you get more OBC. Then there is the RCL stock OBC. We had $1150 OBC on our cruise this month. We bought an GoPro12, Montblanc bracelet, extra carry on bag, Dinner at Eden and Fine Cut Steakhouse, 2 boarding photos, Icelandic troll, $12 for wine above the PDP limit, and a pair of shorts. Repriced twice after final, and the difference was paid in OBC.
