Drinks Package Pricing

Can someone advise how the drinks is priced. When I ordered I was charged the quoted price plus tax at 10% plus the gratuity at 18%. In my case the quoted daily rate was $65 per day so the final cost was €65 + 6.50 + 11.70 = $83.20 . Is this correct?

There shouldnt be 10% tax. If the cost was $65 per day it should be that x days plus 18%.

Yes, that is correct as you were charged VAT and the 18% gratuity.

Are you sailing from Barcelona? Sailings from there attract 10% vat. (, except when the cruise planner prices in £ then it quotes the final all in price immediately)I don't think it's the country you are living in more the ship sailing country.

Prices depend on which market you book, not where you live.

True but have noticed with Barcelona they add an additional tax that does not get added elsewhere such as UK or USA . Am not sure why Barcelona is different .

Just what is says, anyone can book in the US market regardless of where they live and get US pricing.
