HateSnow Posted August 1 #1 Share Posted August 1 I've sailed on 7 previous cruises, all out of Port Canaveral. I have an MSC cruise booked for next year which sails out of the port of Miami. Looking for suggestions on a hotel in the area of the port to spend a night or two...
Aquahound Posted August 1 #2 Share Posted August 1 The port is downtown, so there are a ton of nice hotels. Personally, I prefer the Intercontinental. Otherwise, the Hilton Miami Downtown and the Marriott Biscayne Bay are really nice and have great views of the port.

Hello @HateSnow Thank you for your new thread on the Ask s Cruise Question forum! However, it is the forum for general questions regarding cruising. IMO you don’t want to stay near the port. Stay in the Brickell area or South Beach unless you are just flying in the evening and getting on the ship the next morning.
JohninDC Posted August 2 #5 Share Posted August 2 Flying into MIA or FLL? Many choose to fly into FLL to save $$ and stay there before heading to Miami for their cruise. Travelling with family? Honeymoon or big anniversary? Budget? Give the board a few more details and then the suggestions will be closer to your target.
