barbeyg Posted September 2 #154 Share Posted September 2 I guess now that I’m retired, I am just going to stroll in everywhere late! 😬 Just sat down with my espresso, and lo and behold, an @A&L_Ont adventure to follow! How have I missed this so far? 🙄 Thanks for sharing, Andrew! 😁 1

We are going to be in Fort Lauderdale at a hotel waiting to board Freedom on Sunday, so we made sure our tablet has it installed so we can at least watch it. May try to hook the tablet into the hotel room TV so we have a bigger screen. Even here in Wisconsin it is only broadcast in the Green Bay area on regular TV.

If I were home I could watch it on my big screen but even if I have to watch it on my phone I will. At least I will be able to see it. Not a fan of showing games on streaming services only.
Rare Sea Dog Posted September 2 #158 Share Posted September 2 9 hours ago, A&L_Ont said: A magnet for this one. I used a suction cup for the sail away video. As Owen would say - hi risk, hi reward. I like the size of that it looks smaller than the heavy duty mount i have. The only problem with the some ships is ones that have the non metal glass dividers on the sides. I couldn’t use the magnets there. I either had to do a gorilla pod on the rail or suction cup on the dividers. Have a great day today

You request a small intinerary change to Bermuda and we’ll all just hang out. What do you think?? 🤔 I don’t see any downside. 🤣 2

Rare A&L_Ont Posted September 2 Author #163 Share Posted September 2 A couple photos from the balcony. The air temps are warm but showers are pacing us. We will soon leave the freighter behind. Hopefully the showers too. Kankle report, all good. Macaron report. They’re good too.

One of my favourite groups, the Beastie Boys, called NYC home and I’m going to live vicariously through their lyrics for the next 8 nights. I’ll be… Waking up before I get to sleep 'Cause I'll be rockin' this party eight days a week. Any references I make to their musical work through my review I will note in bold text. Now at my age, I highly doubt I’ll survive a 7 night cruise by waking before I get to sleep. But, to quote the B-Boys - No sleep 'til Brooklyn. Can’t believe I’m 3 days and 6 pages late to the party @A&L_Ont’s reviews are some of the best. !

Too bad they didn’t have Nanaimo Bars for dessert. These are amazing. It consists of three layers: a coconut crumb base, a custard filling, and a chocolate ganache topping. Notice, no raisins. Just saying. Poutine with a the greatest food ever invented.
