Butters530 Posted 3 hours ago #1 Share Posted 3 hours ago Hi, I am an Audhd adult and am a very particular eater. I have cruised once on RCLL and they were amazing, it was yes to everything and even let me look at the kids menu. I don’t go making outlandish requests - for example substituting Ranch in place of Caesar dressing. Is Princess as accommodating? Making my food more basic and axing certain vegetables. My husband on the other hand is an adventurous eater. Help put my mind at ease.
Jadn13 Posted 3 hours ago #2 Share Posted 3 hours ago I have never had an issue. I’d say they are very accommodating. I’m a vegetarian and in the past Princess didn’t have many options.I often pre ordered my dinner the night before with the head waiter, off menu. (They now offer many more options for veggies) You may want to look into the traditional dining option.

We're not picky eaters, but we do ask for some differences in some things, as well as additional vegetables. One time I asked if they had honey mustard salad dressing. The waiter said that they didn't so I chose something else. When he brought the salad, there was honey mustard dressing on the side for me to put on as I wished. He said he asked about it in the kitchen and they said they didn't have it but would make some. They will go the extra mile.
skynight Posted 2 hours ago #4 Share Posted 2 hours ago Yes, Princess will do this. It probably would be best if you selected traditional dining where you have the same table and same waiters each evening. Yes you can order from the youth menu. 1
Cruise-a-Hallic Posted 1 hour ago #5 Share Posted 1 hour ago Highly agree with others. Princess is very accommodating. I also recommend the traditional dining if you are a finicky eater. That way you would have the same table and wait staff each night, who will do their best to fill every request. Want to order from kids menu, no problem. Want something not on menu (within reason), just ask. They will see if kitchen can prepare, or maybe offer substitute. If you’re curious about something, but would never pay to try it at home; order it. If you don’t like it. Order something else instead. I think service is amazing! Rare Coral Posted 1 hour ago #6 Share Posted 1 hour ago Yes - Princess is very accommodating. I always ask for different vegetables and different salad dressings.
LeeW Posted 1 hour ago #7 Share Posted 1 hour ago Wife typically orders the steak, no sauce, and fries for most meals (and no veggies). If they don't happen to have a steak on that night's menu she sometimes orders the extra cost beef filet and I get half. She has ordered iceberg lettuce with no dressing, grapes, soft white rolls (that are normally only available in the buffet). Granddaughters have ordered plain grilled chicken breasts, carrot sticks, and plain spaghetti (no sauce). Dining room always has fries and baked potatoes available, and can give you most salad dressings if you ask. One cruise we noticed that a particular dessert wasn't on any menu and the headwaiter had it prepared for us the next night.
