zqvol Posted Monday at 11:37 PM #2 Share Posted Monday at 11:37 PM Check out www.tripinsurancetore.com. They are contributors to CC, in fact they are prominently displayed on the insurance board here. I have found that Steve is excellent and will go out of his way to get you the coverage you need at a good price. I just bought from them and the cost for more coverage was about half what I found elsewhere.
One More for the Road Posted Tuesday at 02:03 AM #3 Share Posted Tuesday at 02:03 AM Have had Allianz for years. $500 for two. Incredible medical/evacuation coverage, which is really the whole point. Not a sponsor.

sanger727 Posted Tuesday at 11:28 AM #5 Share Posted Tuesday at 11:28 AM Yes, I have used geoblue a few times. It's important to distinguish between comprehensive trip insurance and trip medical insurance. Geoblue only offers medical, which makes it much lower priced. We don't usually get comprehensive trip insurance. The money we have outlayed for the trip has already been budgeted, so worst case scenario is we lose it. Vs having a medical emergency and racking up billls for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Yep. Me too on all three. I buy policies at final payment with 60 day preexisting lookback.

I don't know if your statement "Not a sponsor" was in reference to zqvol's statement "Check out www.tripinsurancestore.com. They are contributors to CC, in fact they are prominently displayed on the insurance board here.". However, if it was, I do not sponsor or transmit money in any form to CruiseCritic and vice versa. I simply answer questions to help others. And, I also explain this in greater detail here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/3011516-about-steve-dasseos/#comment-67460413 . Hi ChiefMateJRK, If you are buying a policy at Final Payment that includes a Waiver of the Pre-Existing Medical Condition Exclusion, then the Lookback Period doesn't matter. Here's more information: https://tripinsurancestore.com/travel-insurance-pre-existing-medical-condition-lookback-period/ I hope this helps you.
