Past Cruisers take note...

gonna go cruising

Recommended Posts

I am really cross:(. I cannot access Princess.com. All i get is a message that says call princess for your prices. It seems here in Oz, we have been locked out of the US site. The only problem being, the cruise we have booked on is not yet listed on the Australian site.

Would you like for me to look it up for you? I will be happy to if you give me the particulars like date, category, etc.

Let me know and I will post my email for you to send it to.

Who do you use then? Email me please. susuw@cox.net

Thanks!

I book directly through princess.com because I got tired of trying to reach my agent when I would find a cabin I wanted that opened up and she was unavailable, etc. Princess will not let you manipulate your booking at all if you had an agent book it. To me, it is worth a bit more to be able to grab a sale or different cabin when I am able to watch for them.

Gonna go cruising. Yes I would love that. Thank you for your offer.

I was checking the US site quite regularly, just for cruising info, because our site is so waaaaay behind. They tried to tell me in Oz that they were doing updates on the site (for 4 weeks now) Ha

My email is gonna_go_cruising@yahoo.com Note there are underscores between the words.

I will be happy to pdf the page for you so you will be able to see what they have. I will have to log in for pricing as myself but assume you are also a past passenger so would get the same rate.

Gonna_go_cruising.

Thank you so much for posting the price reduction information. I e-mailed my TA and I am hoping to hear from her tomorrow. There are 5 of us going...my kids (adults) will be in a BB cabin and from the looks of the board it could mean a $300.00 savings. Again...ty.

BTW...Gonna...we're on the same sailing as you are. (March 11, 2007) We have a very small CC Roll Call started and would love for you to come over and join us. Looking forward to chatting with you.

Happy cruising!

This is great! I noticed a price drop in price and called my TA Friday at five...She and I worked it out so we both dropped $200 per cabin on our January cruise. I've called her all hours and she's terrific!! We actually joke about it being "double or triple" time. My husband wants to know everything and wants to get the best price, cabin, etc. and always has questions so she has been terrific!

I'm a little confused. Either we got one heck of a deal at the time we booked, or I'm doing something wrong here. We're in a BB level for July 14/07. The price for the cabins at this level come out to $1300 MORE than what we're paying.

Could the TA have been able to give us that good a deal or am I reading something wrong here? That's just too big of a difference for me to just sit back and say GREAT. TA also gave us a $50 onboard credit for our cabin btw.

When I was booking, I did shop around on the internet and the TA we went with seemed to have the best price, but hello? $1300 difference for one cabin? Could this be possible?

Kim, if you have cruised on Princess before you need to login to see the price discounted. It is possible however that you did get such a good deal that it will not go down again. Summer usually sells out I think so they may not discount them much now. I noticed mainly the spring ones are dropping.

Princess.com had a sale that started yesterday. Seems all prices went down on our sailing at least in March. Heads up even if you are already booked to check on your price today as long as you have not made final payment. You may save some more! We sure did.

Thanks for the heads-up! We saved $334. My DH figures another sixty-six $5.00 bets in the Casino from "his refund". :D

How do you know if prices have dropped ?

We got a really good deal with TA from Sears Guarantee Cat I inside

Should ask Sears to check if any price reduction is available and check if we are able to upgrade or just wait and see what we get ?

Just looking for the best deal possible
