This lady here is going to go to Cracker Barrell today with the family! Letting someone else do the cooking, since we go all out at Christmas with cooking.

We have Turkey at work though...yumm!

We are visiting, not cooking this year so some of the 'kids' are miserable.

 

They include the Bassets : Macarthur, Lindbergh, Flash, and Droopy.

 

The Cat: Livingston

 

And the Parrot : Bud who loves the turkey leg bone and screams out MMMMmmmmmm! while he's cracking it open.

Gotta go, time to make th pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread, our addition to the dinner this afternoon. ( real pumpkins and from scratch!) Yum!

 

Once again have a happy and SAFE Thanksgiving.

Hah! Thanks to DH's surgery we are having TV dinners by ourselves! Swanson's Hungry Man---40 minutes from box to plate. Is that a "yum" or what?

 

Just thankful surgery went well and thankful all those who are defending our country.
