i believe the last at sea day was friday, not thursday. please clarify????:D

was the quest on san juan nite?

Whoops... If on Thursday, it would have been after Labadee. It wouldn't have been on the last at-sea day since that's the day before they kick us off, and I'm sure they wouldn't have done it then.

(San Juan was on Monday.)

Hawk,

you were asking about rude people on the Liberty.. I DID encounter some.

the main thing was squeezing as many people into the elevators

as possible and just bumping into us and NO apologies. My son

noticed it mostly and he is 9. The kids in the H20 zone did the same-

ran by splashing you, jumping in the pool on top of you, kicking

and just plain running into me with no I am sorry or apologies.

I would say OWWWWWWWWWWWWlllll and then I got a look.

I did not see any RCI people enforcing any area there.

they shut down the H20 zone one day early since a kid had

a bloody nose in the pool. That they were paying attention to.

I did notice cigarette smoke in the hallway too of the 9th floor midship

outside my room when we left to go somewhere. I know a couple 2 doors down were smoking

in their room and it would filter out in the hallway. I told

our cabin steward, but I doubt he did anything about it.

I could hear kids and people running and walking down the

hallways outside our door all night long too. some as late

at 3am. I did not like being in the middle of the ship.

the room I reserved orginally was snatched up from us.

It was an end room on the aft. we got "upgraded" at check in.

I wished we would have had the room I booked.. would have

been quiet without people running up and down the hallway.

one night at 11pm a kid was blowing a whistle walking down the hall.

I opened my door and stood there with my hands on my hips

as they walked toward me.... his mother told him to stop blowing

the whistle. I was ready to make him eat it. stuff like that makes me mad. you would think the parents would have some common curtesy.

my cousin works in the science dept at OSU. I dont know the

details. I hardly see him since my aunt died.

the company I work for in Columbus is AKSM on Thomas lane.

It is a surgery center with mobile sites all over the USA,

in 39 states. we take care of patients kidney stones.

I am one of the mobile sites in PA. I go to the main office in Columbus

occasionally. Our xmas party is always in Columbus at

the Hyatt capital centre or last yr was the Hilton by the

PF changs and the outdoor mall.

sorry to keep babbling on.. hope you have a wonderful cruise.

He wouldn't have done anything about it. Passengers are allowed to smoke in thier rooms for the time being. I am sensitive to smoke also, but if there was smoke in the hallway, there is little that can be done about it.

My husband works at that outdoor mall! :) He's a jeweler at Andrews (in the back part behind the movie theater, if you are ever there again).

And there's a good chance that your company helped him with his kidney stone problem a couple of years ago  - he had one that had to be surgically removed.

It's so hard to believe that this time next week, we will just have finished our first day at sea! I think it's safe to say that it's taken over all of our waking thoughts!:D

Just finished looking at your photos...they were great! Thanks so much for posting them. We are going on the Liberty in less than 2 weeks, and the pics just make me even more excited! Your family is lovely and look like they really had fun, except for maybe at the airport (ha ha!) I work at THAT airport, so I know how it is!!!

For anyone who may be interested, I've uploaded some pictures to an online web album.

Thanks so much for sharing your photos - it really looks like everyone had a great time! :)

BTW - that younger son of yours looks pretty mischievous! I'll bet they're both a LOT of fun!!!
