Desmond is back.........I love Sylvester (more so then desmond) and he is still up there too........but only in the D area when help is needed..
Great that Sylvester is still up in VC. We'll be on Monarch in 3 weeks and hope to see him again. His service is outstanding.

By the way, is the C&A party on the 3 day for all C&A or is it back to P/D/D+?
Thanks also for the info. I am guessing, as it's been awhile since we were in Nassau, that the MDR is not open at that port either on the 4 day.

Is the Windjammer open?
Yes,it is..........they gotta feed you somehow!:)
Monarch fan as you can see we cruised on her in July and going again in October.
We are Diamond and enjoyed our free drinks in Viking each evening.Could use some new slot machines in Casino. Very friendly crew members.
Nice!! Ahh...I can only dream of all the cruises you have been on, nice line up! :)
And here I am just thrilled to make Platinum.
When are you going in October? I am happy to be onboard 10/25.
Happy cruisin!
Does anyone know if they have the shop onboard the Monarch where kids can make their own stuffed animals? Thanks in advance for your help.
Right near the kids area, they have a booth set up where they can make them
Thanks! We are getting SO excited!! 30 days and counting!!!:D
Are you doing the Monarch in 30? I don't see a count down clock for it in your signature line. We are doing the Monarch in less than 60. I was just telling the DW that it would probably be time to start getting excited when we cross the 30 day mark. Leave her in nice shape for us.:D

It is usually by Adventure Ocean on Deck 10. We were on Monarch Labor Day week and the machine was gone with a note apologizing for its absence due to needed maintenance. Hope it is back by your cruise!

It's a surprise for our 3 children, and I didn't want my daughter to see it in my signature. She and I love scouring the boards for any info we can find on our upcoming Freedom cruise. This will be our 3rd cruise-but our first on RCI. We are cruising the Monarch on 10/15, and I promise, we will leave her in nice shape. Happy sailing!!!:D

DH and I are planning our 5th cruise first on RCI I got a wild idea a couple of years ago to get the RCI visa and now one of us is going for almost free. Our son (6) is joining us for his first cruise. We picked monarch as it is within a days drive, short and we can hit the space center in the same trip. Need a short trip as we are not sure how our son will like it. If my son is with the adventure ocean will they be able to contact us if we are needed. I am sure he will have a blast but if he get sick or is not enjoying him self?

Thanks!
Well, for upgrades they start with the most credits........and work their way down...however on cruises under 5 days, you have to have 75 credits to get an upgrade.....BUT the upgrade fairy has struck in mysterious ways...
Yup, ...realizing the upgrade fairy would never find me with only 4 credits...I kept watching the website reservation page. Jumped on the price discount for residence rates they posted this morning, and for a total of 60 bucks I upgraded from my little abode on deck 3 to deck nine and an SOV. Did my own upgrade! :D

I am guessing this is a better choice??
Great upgrade.......more room.........and if you got one midship, right near the stairs, you'll have an inside muster station:):)(that is true for the other decks as well)
Thanks Kathy,

Yup...midship it is, with the help of the C&A customer service rep I called. She picked the cabin....9066...as I hope this is a good selection.
That's going to get really old fast. We used to be able to hide, but now they take roll. Do you know where muster station is for the JS's?
Different locations........depends on which cabin you have(and I dont know them all)..just the ones right in the middle.....

Thanks Kathy... :)

We never take the elevators....as of yet anyway...as we are still a "walkie talkie" set. After all that good food, we like the "stair climbers" :D

Same here........at least we try to..........always going down and for the most part going up........Unless we come back from Nassau and we're so hot.......takes too much effort to climb from deck 1 to 11(WJ--for a cold drink)

I hear you....have taken that guilty pleasure in the past too. :D
Sometimes you just have to take the straight line to that Margarita with your name on it!
