What food do you MISS on a cruise?

I honestly cannot come up with a single thing that I cannot do without for a week or two.

Personally I think a cruise is a great chance to mix it up a bit, try things outside my comfort zone. If I try something and don't like it, I can get something else!!

Not really a missed food but when ever we go on holiday I always have to take my own tea bags. When visiting the US for the first time I "really" missed a good cupa, Lipton tea was horrible:(. I was like a kiddie with a sweetie bag in the British section of Epcot when I spotted they had Twinnings Earl Grey tea bags:cool:. From then on I always made sure to pack my own. Got my box already set aside for our first upcoming cruise. My favourite is Tetleys Earl Grey with Vanillia which I know I will never get on board ship:rolleyes:.

Don't really have a food I miss as I like to try different dishes, but Tea is another matter....

The Princess had high tea and the Ryndam had Tea from Thailand. Other ships have high tea. Nice experience

We miss a few food groups but if we had to pick one that we really miss:

Chinese food.

Gramps

The Paradise had Mongolian BBQ on the Lido in the afternoon.

I am sure the MDR would make a rice dish for you. Not the same but close.

I am sure you could get enough of everything to make it look like chinese.

We just don't have time to miss anything and we certainly aren't hungry enough.

Sure we have cravings, but that void is soon filled by something else.

I have read many times on C.C. that people are disappointed in the food on a cruise.

We have never been disappointed yet. We can always find something good to eat.

There are sweet things, salty things and savory things. Keep looking.

As many have said "if you don't see it" "Just ask".
