Iv played a lot in the casinos on all cruise lines starting 25 years ago . Ive never got any free drinks on any ships on any cruise line .They always come around selling drinks but no free ones CARL

They have no incentive to try and keep you in their casino--where else will you go?

The only time I saw anyone get a drink in the Casino was when someone won REALLY BIG!!! (Like a few thousand dollars.)

Though occasionally we et to know the hosts well & they will comp one.

 

If you want free drinks, go to art auctions (champagne), captain's cocktail party (usually first formal night for an hour), and champagne waterfall night (usually second formal night; may not be on all lines).

I have been cruising for years and love the casino's. The last three cruises I have been on I was comped a few drinks. Usually the casino host chats me up and buys me one when she sees me. LPT

Usually no. There will be servers, but surprise surprise ... they'll ask for your card.

and not once was I offered a free drink. :( sniffle-sniffle.

They tried in on NCL , it got abused, they ended it....

Crystal, Regent, Silversea and Seabourn all give free drinks in their casinos.

Yes, drinks are free in the casino, if you bring one to the casino from your own stash;)

we got pretty looped in the casino on the ncl jewel last yr. not to many people knew about it , they serve free rum punch , when the casino first opens, they have learning classed on the different machines, and also you got a free spin on a machine, to win cool stuff, cruise , money ... it was every night, but only certain hrs. i only found out all this stuff on cc. you can sign up for a casino card, and they give you $10 free, to gamble. we did great in the casino, i left with $800 and friend with $1600. we are not even gamblers, well until then. get into my threads from last yr. tells al about the casino.:rolleyes:

:DWe went on the NCl pearl to alaska in may,signed up for the players club card in casino on the first day, they gave us our card, we got free drinks the whole cruise, my husband had bud light in a bottle and I dranked white russians ........ I spent about 200.00 gambling my husband only spent about 40 dollars...... we hung out in the casino every night! and No you don't really have to spend a lot to get a drink!:)
