BostonBud Posted February 11, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 11, 2009 I haven't seen a full list of menus for the MDR either. the site that was mentioned above is not the whole week and I believe a cruise to nowhere. I'd also be interested ina week's worth of menus. I guess people are having too much fun to snap a photo of a menu card. I'd probably be with them. I don't think with all the goings onboard our sailing that we'd have the time to remember to think about taking photos of them! :D However, it would be nice to try and figure out which nights are not as good as others to get in line early for specialty restaurants. :)

languageartslady Posted February 14, 2009 #7 Share Posted February 14, 2009 I have been looking for a picture of the menu, too... I am really looking forward to seeing it. I did see the ones for the short preview cruise, but mostly the things I've seen are for the special venues, and not the MDR. Anyone able to share? Thanks! CAPinBoynton Posted February 16, 2009 #17 Share Posted February 16, 2009 You are quite welcome. It was our first Christening of a ship, and the ceremony was very impressive. We didn't write a review to go with the pictures because it was a two night pre-inaugural with both the owners and the CEOs of Celebrity and Royal Caribbean on board. It was an amazing experience, but not a "normal" cruise. We will be on the March 15 sailing of the Solstice, so we will write an actual review of the cruise when we return. tom_uk Posted February 17, 2009 #21 Share Posted February 17, 2009 Can anyone tell me how much drinks cost on Celebrity? I'm particularly interested in wine, by the glass or bottle. I understand that there is no ceiling, of course, but I'd like to know the price of ordinary, quaffable wine. I've seen pictures of one or two of the speciality menus (restaurant and Cellar Masters) and the prices did seem a bit high - not many under $10 a glass, and lots for more than that - but I haven't seen any indication of prices in the normal bars and the MDR. Also I'm unclear how much wine is in a glass. In the UK/Europe we are used to knowing how big the glasses are. For example, in the UK wine is normally sold in two different size glasses - 175ml (a fraction less than a quarter of a bottle) and 250ml (a third of a bottle), and in any case a menu must tell you how big the measure is. How big is 'a glass' on Solstice?
