Sunday in Bridgetown

We’ll be on the Explorer Of the Seas 15 March 2009. We will be in Barbados Sunday 22 March 2009. We have nothing planned. Since this will be our fourth time to Barbados we were going to leisurely get off the EOS and walk around Bridgetown for a little shopping. Before returning to the ship we want to stop in one of the bars and have a Banks Beer or two. Is it true most if not all the shops are closed on Sunday? What about the bars?

I was just there a week ago on Sunday and they said all the shops were closed. Only the terminal shops were open. This would be a good port to have a definite plan on a Sunday, even if you have been there before.

Most beach activities continue on, seven days a week..

..once there's a tourist dollar to be made

the beach-chairs, umbrellas, glass-bottom boats, water-ski and jetski's will be there!

 

 

-not here at Bottom Bay, but on South and West Coast beaches...yes.
