Eclipse announcement

Celebrity says they will present today the itineraries, etc. .. does anybody have any idea what time? Where and when can I find the itineraries for 2010...?? Don't want to say I'm anxious BUT..LOL

There is a placeholder for the web page at celebrity.com/eclipse. I am guessing it will appear there sometime today. I've tried refreshing it a few times today already.

Hi Everyone !

I've been checking since 12:01 this morning :)

As of 11am Eastern, still nothing there. I am trying to find out when the Eclipse site will go "live". If I hear anything, I will post it immediately.

If they track how many hits it gets before it goes live, they might realize how obsessed some of us are!!!

Hi Schplinsky !

And 5,000 of those hits are from me.... just kidding :)

Take this for what it's worth. I just got off the phone with Captain's Club and the rep said it was delayed until Tuesday. She also said they will not have sailings info along with price until March 3.

We all know how this could be different that we are told.

If they're not posting itineraries or prices, what exactly would they post? We already know what the ship looks like. I hope the Captain's Club person was just confused (shocking) and that she meant it was not on sale unil the 3rd.

Hi Pamkev !

Thank you for making the phone call.

I'm sure you were told this, but it doesn't make much sense. Bookings are scheduled to open to Captains Club Members on March 3rd. One would think Celebrity will give us some time to see the itineraries before bookings open. At least, I hope so !

Hopefully, this will resolve itself shortly. Stay Tuned !

That is what I said to the rep and she replied that is what they were told. Who knows.

Still getting placeholder site at Celebrity @ 12:40EST. I hope they do release the itineraries sooner rather than later, it's nice to get a sneak peek before bookings open. Delaying them would probably be a hassle. Celebrity better get cracking, they have a lot of itineraries to release already at the beginning of March.

This was on a British travel site. I'm just posting this one for information. If it is out in the UK, they should turn on the US website today!

Have a good day,

Also known as Lisboa to the native Portuguese, Lisbon has earned its title as capital of Portugal. See why this city reigns above all others as you stroll along elaborate mosaic sidewalks and pass by the Monument to the Discoveries. A quick trolley ride transports you to the cobblestone district of Baixa. Or if you choose, be lured off and pampered in the resort cities of Cascais and Estoril.

Nestled at the tip of Bermuda's West End, King's Wharf is home to the impressive Royal Navy Dockyard and the Crafts Market, where you can shop for great pieces handmade by island artists. Nearby Somerset Village boasts the world's smallest drawbridge, opening a mere 22 inches - just wide enough to accommodate a sailboat's mast. Shore Excurions to be confirmed

Why do people get so excited about new ships?

There are so many wonderful ships out there.

Is it because we can be the first to sleep on the mattresses?

I really don't understand it, please convey to me the trill of new ships?

I was raised to enjoy the classics, so enlighten me!!:)
