  1. I'm glad you got answers. In the future it would be beneficial if you made the topic of the thread a variation of what info you are looking for rather than your Cruise Critic name. It will allow other to quickly know what you are looking for and decide to open the thread.
  2. My CVP posted this today on their social media page. I'll let you know if she posts anymore info. Good Morning! We have received information that the new updates for dining are delayed. If you are sailing after September 14th, you will not be able to make main dining room reservations. As soon as I have word that dining is open, I will post here. Thanks for your patience.
  3. August is fine for the Caribbean but many ships are deployed in Europe during that time frame which is why you don't see as much doing the Caribbean. It is hurricane season so the ship might have to change itineraries, there may be some rough seas if there is a storm and it will be HUMID, HOT and rainy season. It's still a great time to cruise and I would do it but know that things could change due to hurricane season.
  4. That is very disappointing if that's what they do. It will make Take 5 a place I won't spend any time in.
  5. Sorry, as others have said. We are not allowed to mention any CVP's on here even though many of us have great ones. My suggestion would be to go to a meet and greet on your next cruise and ask some fellow members then. As no one can help with this, I'm going to go ahead and lock the thread. I wish you good luck in your search.
  6. Oh I hate to hear that Take 5 is closed and not open for your sailing.. We actually ended every night there with our friends in April. Have they given any idea of when it is opening again?
  7. No, but I could listen to the few passengers who had it happen to them complain up a storm and argue with guest services.
  8. No, it came about after a spring break cruise that I was on. Many of the college students were sharing the package. They caught quite a few of them. I'm sure this helped lead to the decision
  9. It's also the way that causes Princess to change the rules and pricing of the packages for the rest of us who choose to follow the rules of the package. If you get caught sharing, the package is canceled and they retroactively charge you for each and every drink you have consumed. And yes, it does happen as we have seen it.
  10. So glad you decided to do a live from and I can't wait to follow along on your journey! Enjoy every moment and Bon Voyage!!!
  11. Of course, you can keep the live from and it won't be touched! Please don't think I was negating your live from at all. Please accept my apology. I think there were some viewers that were confused as it was 2 months prior to your sailing as well all the pictures of your last cruise on it. Some may think this is from your next sailing. I greatly look forward to following along on your cruise and of course you will get recognition for doing a live from. Thank you very much for taking the time to post all about your cruise and thank you even more for posting live from your cruise when you are on it. It looks like a wonderful sailing and hope you will absolutely love every moment!
  12. This looks to be a review of a past cruise on another cruise line rather than a live from on a Princess ship, which I think is confusing members. I do see that you are taking a Princess cruise at the end of July. My concern is this will drop back pages as time goes on and you will no longer be able to find it when you actually are live. Would you like me to change the title of the thread @scubacruiserx2
  13. It was the same on the April 20th sailing as what JamieLogical experienced, only Gigi's was open for lunch on embarkation day out of those 3. The MDR is open for lunch until 1:00 or 1:30.
  14. oh I get that, there are sailings where it's way too quiet for me and I'm 62. I prefer lively venues and will say that Royal has a huge leg up on that.
