Welcome to Cruise Critic! The Escape is a great ship with lots of great entertainment on board. On port days, the main dining rooms are not open for lunch, and sometimes the buffet closes right when the crowds are returning to port too, so check your dailies if you will need a late lunch on board. O'Sheehan's will be open all day. There will also be less bars open on a sea day, but plenty will be available. Same with activities; less but still so,e things to do like crafts and trivia. There are plenty of loungers above the pool deck away from crowds, and the waterfront is also great during the day with seating all around deck 8. The District Brew House is often not as crowded during the day and they have some nice cocktails in addition to many beers and a few ciders. I wish you a wonderful cruise! ❤️⚓️

I always eat too much at embarkation lunch, so a late dinner is always necessary on the first day, After that I eat mostly just breakfast with a midday snack, so earlier dinner can work. But there's always so much food that later dinner is still a much better choice IMO,

I've definitely had that happen in the past. I actually find it very strange that mine expires in August and a new one hasn't arrived yet. I often get a new card years before I'm due, usually every time they update something aesthetically. I appreciate that since the chip is always wearing off and they charge you for a replacement when you ask yourself.

I have BOA too, and I have never had an issue using my old card up until it expires even if the new one is in transit. They give a couple weeks buffer for the time it takes to ship to you.

How was the #1 mini golf at South of the Border? I went to the tourist trap stop once with my husband during the off season and it was completely dead with nothing to do. I'm amazed they can still afford all of those signs on the road! Very disappointing 😔

I'm jumping in and trying to follow. As someone who books inside, Cruise First right now let's you buy $500 for $250. I could also get two Cruise Next certificates on my next cruise for the same deal, but I can only apply one for my next sailing. So, Cruise First is a better deal, right? I'm thinking that I may buy the Cruise First and still book my next one while on board so I can get the free upgrade. Does this make sense?

Thank you for another amazing review! I recommend Ebay for finding the ship ornament. I did that for one of my missing ones. Or find an upcoming role call and ask someone to look for you. Hooray for the returned tradition! I have been hoping that this would come back and I hope it goes fleetwide. Absolutely one of my favorite NCL moments on every sailing. I have been asking and everyone keeps saying it's not back yet. This is the first time I've read a report of its return.

In general, I love the appetizers and often order a few to make a meal. At lunch,the peanut butter cheesecake is my absolute favorite!
