OP, please post an update when you return. I'm on a B2B in August- last Bermuda and first Canada/New England. Entertainment has always been great on NCL, so I'm hoping that things improve. I've been reading too many mediocre reports lately. Very disappointing.

Teppanyaki as others have mentioned tends to be quicker, but so does Moderno in my opinion. The meats come out regularly, so there's no wait and the salad bar is self serve and delicious.

I'm piggybacking off this to go back to OP's 15 drink limit. Even if you paid outright for your drinks and they added up to $109 prior to gratuity, that would probably only be 10 or 11 drinks. So the value is MUCH higher than Carnival's 15 drink limit, and I might feel obligated to tip as well. Only my opinion, but I am happy to pay those grats ahead of time. I do drink more than 10 or 11 drinks/day when I'm on vacation and I'm glad that the bartenders are compensated.

Hi all. I am wondering if lunch menus are still rotating or if it varies ship to ship. Each reviewer seems to post differently. Some have posted one set menu while others show a change each day. I am hoping they still change. I know it’s just sea days, but I am a fan of MDR lunch. As far as dinner menus go, does anyone have an update on the one set dining room menu going to all the ships, or is it still just on Prima? I remember it was tentatively planned to be rolled out across the fleet, but then I read the pasta options being too difficult to keep? I’m definitely a fan of rotational menus, so I am hoping that they stay.

I have platform Crocs that are super comfy and nice with dresses. Not the ugly ones with holes, but nice ones. I’ve also recently found some really cute and comfortable Skechers.

Usually 9-9:30 at the latest. They may offer excursions for Miami that drop off at the Airport later. I would look into those.

I don't want to continue to hijack Megan's thread, but this Benny Brun situation reminds me a lot of Cruise Life Rick. He disappeared suddenly never to return either and I think I read that he too was getting promotional deals elsewhere. Anyone else remember that?

There is a large big box cruising site that often offers free gratuities with their bookings and prices are comparable to booking directly on NCL. Look around and you will find that.

I'm jumping back in remembering another favorite of mine - Peanut Butter Cheesecake from the MDR lunch menu. I scout this out, because it is the best! And I actually found a photo this time.

The Chocolate Marquise from Le Bistro! No photo, but it looks like a Chocolate sausage. Very rich and delicious!

I appreciate your honest review and how positive you stayed throughout. I really hope @Norwegian Cruise Line pays attention to this and all of the other recent reviews. Cutbacks are really showing and it is not good!

The howler monkeys were amazing! I remember having a couple hours left to walk around the port after. You could look at the times and see if both are possible.

How is your daughter adjusting to ship life? Is she finding ways to enjoy herself and making friends?

I like to tip when a drink is brought straight to me in a lounge. If I'm playing Trivia, in the middle of the theater, or listening to music at a lounge...If I don't have to get up for a drink, that is nice service that deserves a tip in my opinion. But it's always an individual choice. No judgement from me on anyone's decision on tipping.

This is what I do. Look for my cruise and itinerary and make a countdown in my office for it. We'll see what happens when they reduce their marketing. Maybe less mail?
